“We like to travel with our dog - Lucky - and stay in a comfortable hotel - and we are aware that some hotels are 'dog tolerant' rather than welcoming - not the case with Blackaddie where we were most welcome and so was our dog - a lovely room and excellent food in pleasant surroundings - would recommend highly”

Did you feel your stay was good value for money? no

“Staff very friendly especially waitress. Self catering accommodation-bit dirty,windows in lounge and kitchen blown so you couldn’t see out fridge freezer compartment broken. Freezer not working and obviously been like it for some time as mould growing inside. Kitchen basic -you couldn’t stay for a week. On the plus side restaurant very good food.”

“Very nice old style hotel the only downside the room was upstairs and the stair case steep not good if you are recovering from a knee replacement. The food was good and reasonably priced and if you want quality food rather than fast food this is the place.”
