“Warm welcome , doggy bag on arrival and dog station in bar with water , bowls and treats . Food was good off bar and restaurant menus . All staff friendly and love dogs .”

“Absolutely amazing dog friendly hotel. They don't just accept dogs they embrace them. Doggy goody bag on arrival, dog station in the bar with blankets, bowls, treats etc. Staff were amazing and made a total fuss of our dogs. Lovely walks nearby particularly the Rother Valley Park. Hotel rooms were pleasant and spacious. Would definitely recommend eating at the hotel. Excellent quality food with both bar meals and higher end dining. Standard of food was excellent and despite catering for a wedding and private party there was no drop in standards. We will definitely be back”

“we took our little westie along for a 2 night stay at this hotel. the hotel grounds were pretty and the hotel staff were very friendly. however, there were 2 weddings there while we were staying there and the noise from the weddings was a lot and disturbed both me and my dog until about 3am. the walls just felt paper thin and we could hear every conversation that took place outside our window and door and at one point there were people running up and down the corridor. i think this hotel is fine for a very short stay as we didnt get any sleep, but i wouldnt book a long stay here.”

“Spent 2 nights here with our Molly dog. Quite close to Sheffield but in the countryside. Lovely period property. Staff were all great & friendly and Molly loved her treats and sausage for breakfast. They had weddings on both nights we were there and and apart from some drunken bad singing one of the nights(we’ve all done it lol) rooms were quiet. Food from restaurant menu was good quality and tasty, also had the option of bar menu if burger, fish and chips etc is preferred. Could do with a few more options on starters and mains on the restaurant menu as I had basically the same on both nights, and a few items were not available that I would have had. Hotel is lovely, Bedrooms are tired and need some money spent on them but have stayed at much worse. Beds comfortable and room well furnished. Spent most of the weekend sitting in the gardens as weather was great. So overall, Yes would return, and they do have a few ground floor doggy friendly rooms as I’m unable to use stairs these days and being an old house there’s no lift.”

“This is the first time we have been away with Monte. Superb reception and loved the welcome pack, the treats went quickly and the whole experience has given us the confidence to do repeat trips. A dog - friendly hotel and there was a lot of attention from the staff, a plentiful supply of water which was particularly important given the heat wave and he loved being taken to the back car park, not just for the bathroom usage, which we found useful, but to lie on the cool short cut grass and roll down the slope.”

“Jodi from PetzPajama's was absolutely wonderful, I couldn't find the perfect retreat for my husband and me and our two dogs, but within 20 minutes of chatting to her, telling her more or else what we wanted (my husband is disabled) she phoned us back and told us about Mosborough Hall Hotel, that she had booked us in and managed to throw in 4 dinners for us as well in the package ... oh Wow! and on arrival there was a wonderful 'Doggy Bag' with a toy, poo bags and treats for our two dogs! The room was perfect, close to the door where we could let the dogs out, played ball with them in the car park which was brilliant, and the staff were all so friendly! As for the breakfasts and the dinners .... absolutely FANTASTIC .... we had such a wonderful holiday for 4 nights, got to see Chatsworth and Bolsover castle too, just had the best time! Thank you JODI for everything you arranged, you are the best!”
