We enjoyed a wonderful two night stay with our dog Chaps. The staff spoilt him with treats and he felt very at home in the spacious room and the restaurant. The food was excellent and the service friendly and thoughtful.

Very disappointed. The room was quirky and quite fun although poorly lit. The fenced terrace was poor. It had cigarette ends in it and a leaking drain that had been like it months, which made the bathroom smell. The food was all but inedible and the service extremely slow. Stale bread, burnt toast turned upside down for breakfastr and dinner was cold and inedible. It was supposed to be 5* rooms and Gastro Pub. It is not. And it was more money than another place we stayed in the next night which was a magnificent Castle!!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I’ve never stayed anywhere 5* before or that price per night so I just expected an extra level of service which we didn’t receive
We stayed in the shepherds hut at the joiners arms for our 20th wedding anniversary which was a beautiful room, very comfortable bed and finished to a high standard, I just felt for the price we paid it would have been nice for the heating to have been put on prior to our arrival as it was cold and also a bottle of fizz or some sort of acknowledgment of our special anniversary. We also weren’t told when we arrived that we had a parking space so we carried all our bags from the public car park up the road. Food and atmosphere in the pub itself were lovely.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Breakfast was lovely. Although I had acceptable food at dinner time my husband didn't both nights.
The accomodation we had wasn't 5* but it was ideal for anyone who wants to take their dog / dogs. Pets are allowed in the pub / restaurant and the staff are very friendly and hard working.

Had a wonderful couple of nights at The Joiners Arms. The accommodation was very comfortable, the food excellent and the staff brilliant. Ollie was welcomed with open arms and had a special treat box waiting for him as well as a nice bed. There is even a special doggy menu! Would recommend the hotel to anyone. We will be back when, hopefully, the wind will have dropped!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Expensive enough for what it was
We were given a warm welcome with our dog keys were left in the door of our room . The room was very dark and quite cramped , treats and dog bowl which was a nice touch . We ate dinner that night which was very good the dog was made welcome in the dinning room . No parking at the joiners Arms car park was 400 yards away which wasn’t ideal . Two beaches within a 10 minute walk which was lovely with the dog .

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? A huge thank you and well done to the brilliantly cheerful staff!
Everything about our stay at the Joiners Arms was fantastic! From the call before we arrived to let us know they had a power cut, to the welcome on arrival ( power restored!), the gorgeous room with dog bowls, treats and poo bags, the friendly, lovely staff, the fabulous menu in the pub and the recommendations on where to walk. A real gem of a place just fabulous - it was a shame we had only booked one night.

A great Gastro Pub with excellent modern designed rooms, we were in a room directly above the main pub and restaurant and neither Coco our super hearing multipoo nor ourselves were at all disturbed, which was amazing, Good food all around and a second-to-none location for exploring the Northumbrian coast, a definite for a return trip
