“Fab location, beautiful building. Rooms were clean, bed was big and comfy, bathroom was obviously new and water pressure and temp was good. Dog friendly elements were good with bowls in the room, treats and a tennis ball! Food was a little disappointing (breakfast and the Grill dinner) and an email had said there would be a dog bed provided which there wasn’t.”

“We had a lovely stay, the Hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Slightly dated but it adds to the charm. They were exceptionally dog friendly, as pups aren’t allowed in the main restaurant they set up a dining table for us for breakfast and supper in the drawing room. Staff were very attentive and kind. Would definitely stay again!”

“We loved every bit of our stay here. The staff were very helpful and courteous and made us and our dogs feel welcome. Loved the view from the room as well! When I requested if the dogs can join us for breakfast, the staff immediately arranged a table in the lounge and brought some treats for the dogs ! All in all, a great country house which really is dog friendly and we will come back again.”

“We were very impressed with the welcome pack with treats and a tennis ball for our dog. We were able to book an evening meal and breakfast which were set out in a designated spot so that our dog could join us. The food was excellent and the room was lovely. Would recommend.”

“Extremely dog friendly, very helpful staff. Beautiful grounds with woodland right on the doorstep. My dog had a wonderful time. We will definitely revisit.”
