“This is a lovely hotel in a great setting between Windermere and Ambleside. Our room was perfect giving our dog Jess direct access into the garden which was a blessing given the current restrictions. All of the staff were excellent with the star of the show Sarah who looked after us very well. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay.”

“We had a lovely stay this week 9 - 11 June 2021. The hotel is very cozy and warming. Staff are so friendly and lovely to chat too. The room was lovely, bed very comfy. The restaurant very inviting and the food amazing. Our dog Finley had a great time being pampered by staff and other guests. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is after a relaxing break.”

“Hotel was in a good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The family room we had was spacious. The food was lovely and they catered well for dogs. There was a welcome pack in the room for the dog.”

“First time away with Maddie our Long haired Pointer. We all loved it. Staff very friendly, atmosphere relaxing for us and Madds. Eating with her quietly under our table away from other dog free diners was lovely. Garden room meant we could take her directly outside and not bother other guests. Would love to go again.”
