Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? An expensive hotel, which was lovely, great receptionist welcomed us warmly. A little restrictive in areas dog allowed when wanting a drink or food.

“A warm welcome, and bed with dog bowls provided. Dogs not allowed in the bar or restaurant area, only the drawing room. Also free range chickens roaming so best to keep dogs on a lead. A falcon display one morning we were advised of to keep the dog away which was fine to be warned.”

“5 Star hotel country house hotel with amazing food from Michel Roux Junior, set in acres of grounds and dog friendly - what more could you want for Christmas? From the minute we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful and when we got to the room there was a blanket on the bed, a dog bed and bowls for Buddy our CockerPoo. Whilst we're all still socially distanced Buddy was allowed in the public areas throughout our stay, although not where food was served, and we were told that if another guest found it a problem we could go to another lounge of which there are many. Plenty of space outside for long walks and Boxing Day activities laid on, but not dog-centric. We had a great 3 nights and whilst it is not cheap we'd go back like a shot.”

“The accommodation was sumptuous, the staff welcoming and unfailingly cheerful and the food superb. Everyone could not have been more helpful, even offering to set up a private table for Christmas lunch to enable us to be with our dog!”
