“Everything was great at the Ring o Bells. Our room was lovely.. fantastic shower, large fluffy towels, comfortable bed and plenty of room for our border collie who was welcomed in the bar and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent on the 2 nights we ate in the restaurant. Our breakfast was equally good... lovely home made granola and perfectly cooked full English. In short we couldn't fault it and will definitely return.”

“No point in booking through PetsPyjamas . It would have been less expensive to have booked directly ourselves All the hype about how dogs are made especially welcome it was no different from other places we have stayed with our dog . A comfortable room but no 'extras' for the dog so on that count we were disappointed”

“Beautiful location and a very warm welcome made for a perfect stay. The dogs were also well catered for and I was given a comprehensive list of walks direct from the pub to avoid having to drive anywhere. Highly recommend.”

“Despite them being short staffed due to Covid I cannot fault the service and attention at the Ring of Bells. The room was gorgeous, breakfast and our evening meal were superb - breakfast has plenty of choice! We also loved the river near and managed to teach our dogs to swim there! Would highly recommend!”

“My wife and I, plus border collie had a very enjoyable short break here. Picturesque Inn in a quiet village location, lovely walks in the immediate vicinity and short drive to variety of longer walks across Dartmoor. Excellent food - dinner and breakfast - plus selection of local ales, ciders etc. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful.”
