“A welcoming very traditional hotel, with friendly staff, and a good town-centre location which still managed a generous car-park. The breakfast and evening menus were also traditonal sadly - rather conventionally uninspired. But I enjoyed it, as did my dog (as far as I can tell!).”

“We only stayed one night but couldn’t have been made more welcome, the room was plenty big enough for us and our GSD, and a lovey room, made welcome and breakfast where Roxi was also given some sausages”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Good place to stay with your dog as long as you dont expect more than a comfy room

“Room was a good size and well decorated. Tea and coffee in the room. Communal areas were very tatty and dated. Threadbare carpets and just all felt a bit grotty, sticky floors in the bar etc. Breakfast was good and the girl serving was cheerful and made a big fuss of the dogs. The major downside to the stay was the reception staff. They were totally disinterested and made you feel like you were an inconvenience to them. One word answers to questions and made you wait at reception even though they could see you stood there. Not very welcoming at all. had to get a kebab in room first night as a wedding on and they said food would be served after 5.30pm then after 5.30pm it was food will be served probably after 6.45pm so cut our losses and ate in room. Bit dissapointing and no mention before arrival or on arrival that there was a wedding and food may not be available.”

“Lovely hotel close to the Brecon Beacons. Room was lovely, huge bed and lovely hot bath . Ruby our cocker spaniel was made very welcome with sausage for breakfast. Susan was a lovey host”
