“The hotel room was big enough for us and our two large size dogs and on the ground floor, which made things a lot easier. However, we never got our welcome package from Pets Pyjamas and we were expecting some bowls or facilities in the room for the dogs but there weren't. Other than that we would go back again.”

“The location of this Hotel is really good and there is a lot to do in the area and easy transport links to various locations. The hotel itself is a standard 3 star hotel with the added bonus of taking your furry friend with you. One advice I would give is if you have a toddler that requires a travel cot, please take your own. The hotel itself can provide you with one but the one we were given was covered in dirt and blood splatters. As we didn't take one with us, we had to resort to using it.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Great location, lots of dog friendly places to eat, lovely walk along the coast path close by, very friendly locals

“We were greeted by polite and friendly staff on arrival at reception, we were allocated a ground floor room overlooking the car park which was perfect for us with our dog. We felt very comfortable at the Thistle, the hotel is a little dated but this didn’t make our stay any less enjoyable. Breakfast was varied. We wouldn’t hesitate to return again.”
