“We found the hotel okay, the rooms were small. The main downside was the constant drone all night long of a fan or heat pump not sure what! On the morning of the second day at 5.30 in the morning we woke to an awful sound of smashing glass, it was a refuse lorry taking away bottles in the yard next door..The disturbance spoilt our special two nights away.... Our dogs were catered for in the room very well, but not in the rest of the hotel.. We had to have our breakfast on our own in the bar area and felt very isolated from the rest of the hotel as we obviously had our dogs with us.”

“We booked The Greeway Hotel & Spa for my husbands 65th birthday and because it was dog freindly, first holiday for our two dogs! We stayed in the Lodge not the main hotel. The lodge is a little noisy as it is on the main road as you enter the grounds. Saying that, it was a lovely walk to the main hotel for breakfast and dinner each day, dogs loved it. The room could do with just a little TLC, but it was an adequate size for us. Dogs had a plush bed, bowls, toy and chews on arrival. The staff were all absolutely brilliant, they could not do enough for the dogs or us. We ate in the lounge area each day so the dogs could be with us. The dogs had sausage & bacon, cut up every morning with a bowl of water. The food was gorgeous, breakfasts and dinners. The hotel did a special dessert for my husbands birthday, arranged by PetsPyjamas, it was lovely, so well presented. Drinks were brought out to us in the grounds etc, nothing was too much trouble. The spa was lovely, the thermal pool was really good. We had our first full body massage which was really nice & relaxing. We would highly recommend the Greenway Hotel & Spa. Thanks to PetsPyjamas for arranging this trip for us, a really good company to use. Everything is made so easy.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Our room was generally very clean but some attention to detail needed on things like the sink tap which had some build up of limescale. We loved the spa.

“A beautiful hotel and grounds within easy reach of Cheltenham and a good base to tour the Cotswolds. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Our Classic room (number 4) was lovely and very comfortable. The only disappointment was the lack of view. Our small windows looked out over flat roofs. Their website features a photo of our room and describes it as a Classic room and having views over the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. So this is very misleading and led to our expectations not being met in this regard. Particularly so as it was a special romantic occasion. A couple of lights were not working in the bathroom. We reported this and we know a maintenance man took a look at them but they were not fixed during our 4 night stay. One night we were woken at 2am by vibrations in the pipe work. After a couple of hours unable to sleep we spoke to the night reception/security man who went immediately to the kitchen and came back saying a tap was stuck. Fortunately he was able to resolve the problem and it didn’t occur again. We appreciated the plate of chocolates and card in our room congratulating us on our anniversary.”

“Great hotel set on some lovely grounds & close to Crickley Hill. There is a direct footpath from the hotel going through fields to Crickley Hill which is a lovely walk on a nice day. Breakfast & dinner were fabulous, where you could order as much as you liked for breakfast from the menu & the 3 course dinner was beautiful. As we were dining with our dog, we were sat in the lounge area, which was lovely and peaceful. The staff laid out a table for us before we’d arrive, which was much appreciated. Coco was also treated to a breakfast sausage each morning too. Staff were attentive & gave lots of fuss to our furbaby. When we arrived in our room, they’d left a dog bed, bowls, toy, tennis ball and snacks for her which was really thoughtful. Our room was perfect as had a little terrace space to be able to let her out for a wee in the early hours of the morning without having to wander through the hotel. There is one poo bin located at the far side of the car park near the entrance to the spa, so slightly away from the grounds of the hotel but easy enough to get to. We had a wonderful time & would happily go back again next year - thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so enjoyable.”
