“We enjoyed our stay in Penzance at the Artist Residence. Perhaps the room wasn't the best with 2 dogs. We had a Comfy Luxe room and I would have preferred extra space rather than a bath tub in the room, but I was grateful that they were able to accommodate us, and we were very near the quay for the ferry early the next day.”

“Hi fellow canines! Our owners selected this lively, quirky hotel for something a bit different as they wanted to be near the amenities in the centre of Penzance. As labradors we usually go with the flow, but being country bumpkins, we found the location wasn’t as much to our liking as there were too many people and pavements with the lack of green spaces a bit of a problem. Our owners thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast/brunch with a varied selection of local produce, very thoughtfully presented and imagine our disappointment when they didn’t bring us back a doggy bag as they said the food was so delicious. However, the place was a bit cramped especially for labradors, and we had to share the limited floor space with our owner’s suitcases, which was a nuisance especially as they kept tripping over us on their way to the bathroom which they complained was more like a cupboard; there was no space either for their toiletries and the only shelf was reserved for the the promotion of the hotel chain’s products. All in all , even though they found the room comfortable and nicely decorated, and staff were extremely friendly and efficient, especially to us, unfortunately, the room was just too small.”
