Quite a unique hotel in terms of being dog friendly. It’s so nice to find a hotel you can go to and feel totally at home. Water bowls a plenty and your dog can eat with you in the restaurant which is very unusual. Whilst they only allow 2 dogs at evening sitting at breakfast time when we were there we counted six excluding our’s. Hotel is very clean and the area is also very dog friendly and I would recommend a visit.

This is a lovely hotel full of kind, caring and considerate staff, which it should be though having stayed in many places over the years, this gem stands out. The weather was great though noone has control on that one! However they do regards to the cleanliness, vibe, food quality and staff behavoir. ALL top marks! Yes i would return with other friends&family for sure. Great location. 3 day break perfect. Well done to the Hotel Manager, she clearly hires well!! Karen. Amelia. Lucy the Border Terrier

So many hotels have no fridge and just enough UHT milk for a cup of tea. At the Eastbury you get a fridge with milk and complimentary wine as we’ll ( it was my wife’s birthday). More milk wasn’t an issue and the complimentary slow gin was also welcome. We had a fantastic dinner and breakfast and we were allowed to stay in our r for an extra 2 hours. Our dog loved his stay as well.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The ‘journey’ from car park to reception is over shingle paths making wheeling cases or wheelchairs hard going. I have never seen such magnificent hydrangeas! Spa seemed a tad expensive: £90 for a facial and products that irritate my sensitive skin
Nice hotel and lovely grounds. Our ‘Potting Shed’ was comfortable and clean although the wet room-style bathroom soaked the rest of the bathroom floor. However, this was resolved each time. Our Bernese Mountain Dog could just about turn around on the ‘patio’ which was disappointingly small. It was refreshing that she was allowed in the dining room with us for all meals and she enjoyed her doggie breakfast and one (pre-ordered) dog’s dinner. I would recommend the Vegan dinner menu for humans although I’m not a vegan. On the whole an enjoyable stay; reception staff particularly helpful and efficient. A purely subjective comment: I would avoid the restaurant on Friday and Saturday as a pianist plays an electronic piano - awful tone and far too loud and inhibited conversation especially as my husband wears two hearing aids. White company toiletries were wonderful and the complimentary bottle of wine and Sloe Gin were a lovely touch

Nice hotel but very overpriced with delusions of grandeur. We rarely complain but felt on this occasion we needed to mention our issues, especially as the hotel said they would contact us regarding same but have failed to do so. The Sunday Roast, whilst very nice, was extremely sparse. Two roast potatoes and a quarter of a carrot, plus a little broccoli! We decided to eat elsewhere as were able to get quality meals for much better value. The bathroom whilst nice had issues where some taps worked back to front and therefore you ended up splashing boiling water everywhere. The taps for the sink were strangely situated over the toilet role holder and therefore you dripped water on the role whenever you washed your hands. Sounds petty but it was quite annoying and not well thought out. Everything seemed to incur additional charges. No fridge in the room and no chest of drawers and at almost £300 per night this was disappointing. We complained and were promised an email from the hotel, which is yet to arrive. Very disappointing.
