Did you feel your stay was good value for money? yes

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The room we were in 203 was directly over the lounge area, so was noisy when there were loud guests in the evening. The evening meal was way overpriced, and a 12.5% service charge is, in my opinion over the top.

“Lovely hotel in fabulous location. The staff are all friendly, helpful and so kind to my dog. The room was on the small side, but very comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was varied and delicious.”

“The Lugger is a lovely destination with the coast path on the door step. We initially booked it as dogs were allowed in the dinning areas but literally days before we were due to arrive the hotel changed it's policy. Our very well behaved dog had a choice of either staying in our hotel room or sit outside while we ate. Leaving her in the room wasn't an option for us as she would possibly scratch the door, get on the bed and cry continuously. As it was we could hear unhappy dogs in other rooms which had been left. So her only option was to sit outside which as it was raining was pretty miserable. What was frustrating was no alternative had been considered. The obvious option is to let guests with dogs enter to the rear of the hotel into the lower seating area where dogs and their owners could sit happily away from the main diners but still enjoy a relaxing dining experience. Though the dinner menu looked very appetizing we decided to eat elsewhere which took away rhe whole point of staying in a place where we could enjoy a bottle of wine and roll into bed.”

“Excellent food and a marvellous location. A very tastefully decorated room with a really comfortable bed. However dogs are no longer allowed in the eating area so had to remain in the room at dinner and breakfast. You may need to update your information”

“Service sorting out the stay was brilliant, after that it was all just normal service between myself and the hotel receptionist, we were told we would have a meet and great and doggy goody bag and such things but never received anything!”
