“Staff very friendly. Very nice room. Hotel is well located for visiting the coast. Check-in and check-out were efficient. My only negative was that the dinner we ordered was a bit underwhelming and our bathroom was very cold.”

“Very welcoming. We had two big Irish Wolf Hounds and the staff were great and we were giving our own dining area for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent. The Venison was tender and not 'gamey', good cocktails. Peaceful well kept garden. Hotel very clean. Large bathrooms.”

“From the complimentary welcome cream tea to the superb evening meal and concluding with a fantastic breakfast – my whole visit was absolutely amazing. The peaceful and beautifully decorated hotel is set in a beautiful garden, with plenty of room to wander and sit. After my cream tea, I visited Bacton Wood, mentioned on the hotel’s own guide to local attractions. Dinner was amazing! Starting in the bar area with a drink, accompanied by nuts and olives, my order was taken. This was then followed by canapes before I was taken to the dining room for a four-course meal. The waiting staff were polite, friendly, and extremely well-trained and every course of the dinner was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to a return visit.”
