“The place was filthy, the central heating was not working and they had put a portable radiator in the bedroom and there was no heating in the bathroom. There was a pane of glass missing in the bedroom and they had placed a piece of plastic there instead of glass I was also put in a room far from reception when the hotel was not full up. The room was around £150 and I would like a full refund. I have taken photos of the disgusting state of the room The safety chain did not work I have taken photos of the room and would like a full refund as the roo”

“The room was standard and didn’t have a fridge so I had to store my pups raw food in the bath with cold water. The bed was extremely hard and wasn’t pleasant to sleep on. The room was cold and had the portable heater on constantly. When outside on the grass area (which was nice despite dog poo being left) there was no bins to be found to dispose of our pups poo so had to walk outside and cross the main road to dispose of it. Breakfast wasn’t great either there was no food options for vegans other than alpro milk for tea, thankfully the waiter came over and I asked her if there’s anything for vegans, she had the kitchen make me some vegetarian sausages which weren’t the best (but it’s the thought that counts). My husband who’s not a vegan didn’t enjoy the food either which was basic hash brown beans and eggs. We booked for two nights (just over £200 technically getting 1.5 days instead of actually 2 as check in is at 3pm) as our plan was to spend the entire second day at Epping Forest which we did and it was thoroughly enjoyable. We ended up checking out about 8:30am on the last day after feeding our pup and skipped breakfast. The pictures look much better online than in person. Not somewhere I’d be hurrying back to anytime soon.”

We pride ourselves not only on our wonderful Pet Concierge Team, but also on the fantastic properties we work with, so we are sorry we didn't get it quite right on this occasion. Generally, our customer's have a really good time at the hotel and they leave wanting to book their next pet-friendly break with us right away!
