“Staff all friendly to both of us and to our Cocker Spaniel Bailey ,who received a doggie treat or two. Breakfast and Evening meal menu wide variety and suited us. Room comfortable for a short stay. Tea and Coffee tray essential and welcomed.”

“Two nights with our Basset Hound B&B at The Horse & Groom, the staff are very friendly and helpful and everywhere is clean and accommodating.”

“We were made very welcome. Lovely facilities and locale. The food and drink were all very good. Our dog loved staying too and had a nice garden to explore.”

“Absolutely amazing place to stay and so welcoming. Not just to me and my wife but our two dogs also. We explained to the staff that one of our dogs was quite reactive and they couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was stress and worry free. All four of us were treated like royalty. Thank you so much guys.”

“Nice size room and good size ensuite bathroom, although the decoration seemed to be in need of some attention. Radiator in bathroom was not working on a cold evening. When I spoke to them about it, I was told that was why we had an electric heater in the room! You cannot Place an electric fire in a bathroom! but I received no apology! Steep twisting steps up to the room were a bit of a challenge. Good cooked breakfast and overall friendly hosts.”
