“We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly member of staff but with the 4 days we were there the staff were all faultless and so friendly and helpful. The evening menu was cooked very nicely and the kitchen staff should be complemented for that. We did have to remind that our dog also wanted her morning breakfast sausage! It just would have been lovely to have a lawn to walk on with her . But well done to all the staff”

“The cottage type room was spacious and has an excellent shower; immaculately maintained with fresh towels each day. The Yorkshire Breakfast only had equivalent quality to a Youth Hostel (for example Edale, Haworth or Hawes) and the Small Kipper was lost on the large plate. The Fish and Homemade Chips were very good but the other items too expensive for their quality. The daily newspaper we ordered never arrived Our dog did enjoy the complementary sausage and upon returning from her local walk approached the back door looking for more!”

“We’ve just got back from a weekend at the White Swan. We’ve stayed once before & loved it, now returning. The Hideaway rooms (where dogs are allowed) are very comfortable - there’s a dog padded mat, a bowl and some dog treats ready in the roon on arrival. The staff are all brilliant. Very helpful & friendly. Food great as well. We love this plce”
