“We loved our stay at The Hawk Inn. They have dog-friendly free add-ons that really helped for example dog treats and water bowls around the hotel and even a spare dog bed for everyone. The room itself had a very comfortable bed and pillows and even an iron and dyson fan! We were planning to head out for food, but were abit late so ate at the restaurant downstairs. I had traditional Sausage and Mash and my partner had the steak, both of which were incredible alongside a side of Truffle/Parmesan Fries”

“The Hawk Inn is in a lovely spot and the staff are excellent, as is the food. We had two lovely rooms at the front, with a view over the green. We were lucky enough to have nice weather, but this meant the rooms were very hot and very noisy as the pub terrace is below. The rooms weren't cleaned whilst we stayed and there was a general lack of eye for detail. Final morning woken very early as scaffolding arrived and unloaded. Nice but very expensive.”

“Had a really enjoyable stay in this chocolate box village. Great room with a big comfortable bed. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Great dog walks. Highly recommend.”
