“Fabulous location & surroundings. Lovely accommodation & amazing staff. We were upgraded to a room with a garden, which was so helpful with our elderly dog. Lovely grounds for walks & good facilities for cleaning up your dog when they roll in something unspeakable! Whilst dogs were not allowed in some parts of the hotel, areas that you are allowed in are still lovely.”

“Staycations are the best vacations — Pets Pyjamas organised and booked a few days away for me and my dog Lulu. It was such a treat (for the two of us). We stayed at Ellenborough Park who took dog-friendly to a whole new level!… Here are my top three favourite aspects of the holiday that I would highly recommend: 1. The room was the most dog-friendly I have ever stayed in whilst being very luxurious. We had our own garden, huge dog beds, personalised letter on arrival, dog food, goodies.. you name it! 2. Definitely book into the private outdoor spa! You deserve pampering too! 3. Everything about the hotel was picturesque and the grounds were beautiful. The main house dates back to the 15th century and was full of character.”

“We loved the hotel. The sweeping drive in was so impressive and our luxury garden room was fabulous. Kiki was given a very warm welcome and loved her Le Chameau dog bed, playing in the her own enclosed garden and her lovely woof treats and goodies. Dinner was excellent and Kiki joined us for breakfast where I had boiled eggs perfectly cooked, the eggs from the local farm, and Kiki was given a sausage which she devoured in a very unladylike way! We had a lovely time in the outdoor spa and walking in the grounds with a backdrop of sheep grazing in the distance. We will be back!”

“We were drawn to the advert because of the large exposure to them looking after our dogs and making them feel welcome. Whilst the bedroom was fine, all other facilities were banned if you had a dog and you were herded into either a cold atrium or a Horse Box. Not at all what was presented in the website and it really should be amended.”

“Staff very friendly and good location for dogs. Food good but ordering first breakfast became a disaster for which the staff were very apologetic. Dog walks close to the Hotel was spacious and safe but a little bland”
