We loved the cottage but the information pack awaiting said no dogs on furniture or beds and not to be left alone at any point - thankfully we brought our dogs pen and blankets or furniture etc, but otherwise this would have been a disaster for us.

My family and I, including our dog, loved the beautiful cottage. It was clean, bright and homely, and the owner had even left us some wine and biscuits. The view from the cottage was stunning, if it wasn't for Storm Ciara hitting we would have explored the surrounding fields more! There was a great selection of DVDs and games, dog blankets, and the firewood was a nice touch - the fire is fantastic. We did have a few problems trying to understand the heating system, as the top floor bedroom was quite cold, but otherwise we were very happy :)

We're London. We don't do mud. I'm sorry we just don't. My owner with her Gucci boots and god knows what other labels she boasts can't be doing with it. So it was a total surprise when she brought me to this adorable little cottage surrounded by muddy fields and paths and endless open sky. I was in heaven. Except for the showers. Hated them. But win some lose some. Of course she didn't have a clue how to light the woodburner. Kept saying 'where's Jeeves when you need him?' But it was cosy enough even during a coldish January. We snuggled in front of the tv in the evening, despite having to sit through the ads because there wasn't anything as sophisticated as a pause or an FF button. And we loved our time in the kitchen. All very simple, loads of mugs for endless cups of tea, nicely designed and practical. All in all a wonderful stay in a very comfortable home. But after three weeks, I think she's glad to be back in her Gucci boots.

Light and airy cottage. Spacious. Everything u need for a short stay. Our dog was relaxed. Garden gated (shared with cottage next door). Footpath outside for longer walks! Heating good. Cosy

Mattie and his family loved this unusual converted brewery vaults in a picturesque Somerset village. Relaxing location, countryside on the doorstep and many footpaths plus a dog-friendly pub in the village. Welcoming host and warm and comfortable place to stay.

Pug Walter loved his stay as did our 11 year old son. The cottage was so clean and the facilities and surroundings were perfect to accommodate our family
