Did you feel your stay was good value for money? no

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Would not recommend. Steps not dog friendly.

“Only stayed at Broad Down lodge overnight as we were uncomfortable with the safety and cleanliness of it. It was definitely not "luxurious " We arrived to find the steps to the lodge were covered in chicken wire, which was definitely not dog friendly. Inside the keys were on the work surface which was covered with crumbs from toaster. As they hadn't cleaned the crumbs away, it made me wonder if anything had been cleaned. The shower looked grubby. I moved runner on kitchen floor, it was so dirty and worn out underneath. Main bathroom door appeared to be covered in glue. Ensuite was clean but handle was upside down. The coating on each door was peeling off. The facilities were basic not luxurious: mismatched cutlery, mugs, glasses etc. Old utensils that looked dirty/well used. The towels were rock hard and could only be used on the floor. The site was lovely but if anyone wishes to book it then they need to be aware to take own towels plus extra bags as you are asked to take home all glass and plastic.”
