“Every thing was outstanding only reason for 4 stars was I booked a garden room as I had my dog, thought that would mean I had access to to garden from my room but unfortunately it means you can only see the garden out of your window. Think this needs to be made clear, I had an old dog so had to carry her to the second floor every time she needed to go out.”

“Wonderful stay lovely welcome. Room delightful everything thought of including dog bed bowls treats & toy. Cosy bath robes soft towels & comfy bed for us.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We feel the wine list was limited and the food could have been better. But it would stop us returning

“We love the swan and the amazing team, all were amazing. We stayed with our dog who was most welcome in everywhere except the main gallery restaurant. Very good”

“We stayed in one of the Gainsborough rooms on the ground floor. It was spacious and lovely and very well positioned to let our dog in and out. The staff were all so polite, helpful and very dog friendly. The food and drinks were fabulous. The location is excellent with lots of shops and restaurants right on your doorstep. We will definitely stay again x”

“An historic hotel in a beautiful setting. Our dog was made very welcome in the thoughtfully located bedroom. She had a bed, handmade bowls to eat and drink from, a treat and a toy to greet her. We had wonderful food, service and treated ourselves to spa treatments. The walks nearby were easy to find and very dog friendly! All in all we were thoroughly pampered for a lovely weekend”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Not really dog friendly just dog tolerant!

“The room and Hotel is lovely but it is obvious that dogs are tolerated as opposed to welcomed! Some staff were obviously petrified by the presence of Ralph the westie. Breakfast service very poor stuck in the bar which is fine as with Ralph but then forgotten by staff constantly waiting even for butter for the toast which had been brought to the table.. I would say the hotel is adequate not up to the normal pets in pajama’s standard of service.”
