Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The gravy bones and water bowls were a lovely addition and the warm water paw cleaning station was inspired!
The Lygon Arms in Broadway are completely dog-friendly, with well behaved pups all over the place. Our room had direct access outside, and the staff didn’t even mind the muddy paw marks on my bed which were cleaned daily by housekeepers that also loved my dog. We had dog bowls, a chew treat, a dog bed and some poop bags waiting for us on check in too. The dogs were welcome everywhere (except in Grill, but the same menu was available in the comfortable Russell Rooms restaurant); the gardens were beautiful with several discreet bins, the dog’s menu was spectacular and my dog loved every minute.

This beautiful hotel was an amazing stay. My friend and I bought our pooches. We did a lot of sightseeing as there are plenty of nearby trails. There are a lot of places to eat which are all dog friendly. Would definitely recommend as a good break. I would say make sure you check your bill when leaving making sure they have discounted the one dog stays for free through Pets Pyjamas.

The Lygon Arms was an absolutely beautiful hotel with very kind and welcoming staff. However, upon checking in the hotel informed me they had not received payment from PetsPyjamas (PP), whom I had paid in full. I tried calling PP twice with no answer. I then texted and got no answer. Eventually the hotel informed me they had made a mistake and had indeed received payment. I texted PP to update them, and they did not respond. Upon check out, I was charged pet fees for every night. PP’s website states that you will never be charged pet fees. I emailed PP about this and again no response. I will be staying at the Lygon Arms again; however, I will not book through PetsPyjamas.

The Lygon Arms hotel and staff are truly dog friendly. The duplex cottage was lovely and the hotel supplied a dog bed, food and water bowls, dog chew and poo bags. In the hotel I would say the areas you can take dogs with you was even nicer than the main restaurant where they can’t go. The staff would find a water bowl without being asked for my dog and even sneaked her the odd sausage at breakfast, much to her delight.

Beautiful building and wonderful staff: helpful, friendly and well trained almost without exception. VERY dog friendly. However decor is dark and dull - which is exacerbated by exceptionally poor lighting throughout. Personally feel food is way over-priced and no more than mediocre (this includes breakfast). Rooms were spotless and bed very comfortable. As a ‘high value’ room, I felt ours was rather small but the French doors onto small ‘private’ patio was useful with the dog. If anyone has mobility problems, there is no lift and most rooms have over the bath shower so be sure to ask for ground floor room with walk in shower. Gardens although not extensive, were well tended and neat. Broadway itself is charming.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Yes, a few years ago we did a Pets Pyjamas package to a hotel in Tewksbury which wasamazing, hence we chose this package again for the Lygon Arms. It was not nearly so good and here are a few comparisons. When we arrived arrived at Tewksbury there was a p
The hotel is lovely and has a natural charm. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. We did an issue with our shower, in what was an otherwise lovely comfortable room, but the staff did what they could to help. We had been here twice some years back and we feel the changes they have made have not been so nice as before.

We’re a family of four and throughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, well maintained and so very dog friendly. Service was attentive and we felt very well taken care of. Dinner in the Russel room was exceptional.
