“Lovely stay . Room very comfortable had everything we needed . Staff great Tim Shannon and TJ looked after us very well. Evening meal and breakfast - food excellent Chosen because Dog friendly . Village setting very pretty”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Just fix the leaky bathroom and you would have got an 'excellent' review.

“The staff at The Museum are incedibly friendly and helpful, to the point that nothing was too much trouble. Food also was very good, especially breakfast! The room was very comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given how close it was to the restaurant. There was a slight issue with the bahroom (leak from under the bath), and it could have done with space to put washbag 'stuff'. Other than that, the whole experience was very good and would definitely go back again.”

“A perfect location and welcome to match. Room was just right and facilities ideal. Nice pub, great food, wonderful walks on the doorstep and full of other dog owners. (Without it being intrusive or too doggy in any way) Would definitely recommend and visit again. Great staff too.”

“We stayed for one night. Lovely large room with sea grass carpet. I think a few dogs had accidents on the carpet as slight stains - my young dog kept sniffing at them and I was worried she wd think it was okay to go as well! Luckily not but watch out for this if your dog scent marks. Room was warm but guest sitting room had no fire lit and was too chilly to sit in and I had to wear my coat for breakfast. Breakfast choice was limited particularly for vegetarians and we waited 20 mins for extra toast which they had forgotten about. Food was good but not great. So it’s a 4 not 5 star experience as it wasn’t really value for money at £250 for the room.”
