Just returned from a 3 night stay with our 2 Irish Setters and delighted by the whole experience (first time in a hotel for the dogs!). From the moment we arrived we couldn't have been made more welcome. All the staff are lovely and very dog friendly. We had a very comfortable room (beds & bowls provided for the dogs) - if I had one criticism it would be that the shower had one of those water saving heads which resulted in a rather week narrow band of water, but then how long do you spend in the shower anyway? Breakfasts are great with an amazing choice of cooked dishes as well as fruit & continental options. We ate dinner on one evening and the food was excellent, sea bass and lamb dishes cooked perfectly and scrumptious puds! Backed up by perfect weather, our first visit to the area for many years could not have gone better.

Stunning surroundings, perfect for dog walks, the access was easy and just the open space we needed for our pointers to keep them as chilled as possible. The food was just incredible, portion sizes were a little on the small side but with drinks desserts etc we were content. Service was constantly excellent, kind, efficient and genuine. The only downside we found was despite booking for 2 big dogs, dog beds were forgotteN in the room, upon arrival this was addressed by the team the moment we walked in with our dogs. However, by the time we came to retire, still no sign of beds. When we asked, we were provided with 1 dog bed and 1 blanket and told due to the number of dogs currently staying there, there were not enough dog beds left. We found that the room was just mega hot, we had to turn radiators down and open windows but still the bed was too hot. We couldn’t figure out why! It was a rough night and neither of us slept at all!!! So uncomfortable and found the double bed too small for us. I ended up on the floor with the dogs and got about 10 minutes of that. Our 10month old baby was up most the night also due to the difficult temperature of the room. Other than this, it was a fabulous stay. We were just pretty zonked the next day! Nice and local to Malvern for a spot of shopping, would come here again but stay in a larger room with a bigger bed!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Lovely setting in Colwell village which is very close to the Malvern Hills.
A true Dog Friendly Hotel. All staff Genuinely interest in the dogs. Lovely Pet beds and bowls in spacious room with additional living room space. For Humans comfortable beds Use of towell robes and complimentry water daily along side tea and coffee. Hotel food excellent (if a little pricy) Great you can choose to eat with your dogs in Bar or lounge or without in the restaurant, ONLY Negative NO dog poo bins in the dedicated dog areas.

Firstly I must mention the hotel staff, everyone friendly, helpful and that included our dog. This is a true dog friendly hotel making it easy during the visit. The bar was spacious to sit in a corner with the dog by the table, a small dining room for meals and breakfast and also a sausage for him every morning. We ate in the hotel both nights of our stay and the food was excellent. Only negative point was the shower in the room. We had a standard room on the top floor which was great as the dog can be on guard when there are people walking around above us but our bathroom was in the eaves which meant we only had a bath with a shower to hold over the bath but due to the angle of the roof it was impossible to stand up and have a shower. the room would be fine if you want to only bath, and if we stayed in future we would request a room with a shower we can stand up in. Also no treat bag for the dog which was listed in the package.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Staff are possibly the friendliest we have come across and we travel quite a bit.
Lovely few days at Colwall Park Hotel. Lovely walks with the dogs. Hotel is very nice, room was lovely, food really nice. Outstanding staff! So warm and friendly, dogs were fussed over at every opportunity and helpful too. The bar was so lovely. Overall, a great place .

The hotel was lovely and the staff very attentive and friendly, especially Harvey, who fell in love with Teeko (as did other staff and customers alike!). Very clean hotel and the food was excellent, both the breakfasts and the evening meals / snacks. Despite the misunderstanding through Pets Pyjamas about the stairs, my step-Dad managed and the Manager / house-keeping lady helped me with all the luggage. Minor points: Dog poo bins needed outside / in the garden. Website does make the hotel look like it is set in the country / within its own grounds, however this is not the case, it is in a village location beside the road. Nevertheless, a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely go back!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We stayed just before Christmas for a long weekend break with friends, Teddy & Crumble were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped into the hotel. We stopped in a suite and there was more than enough room for the boys to play. They both love the
Perfect for a weekend away with dogs
