Lovely hotel in the most perfect location right on the beach, lovely staff super helpful. Small but nicely appointed room, overall lovely relaxing break.

The hotel is in a fabulous position but the building is very tired. The bedrooms and bathrooms need updating. The food was also disappointing with a limited and repetitive menu. The “spa” was just a treatment room. On the plus side the staff were very pleasant and our dog was made to feel very welcome. We enjoyed our stay but would not want to return.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Lovely food and drink for dinner and breakfast in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere
Lovely remote location for a complete getaway. Excellent, clean rooms and facilities, with exceptionally helpful staff. Very dog friendly in restaurant, common areas and rooms, with bed, bowls and treats provided. Will definitely return.

I can't quite believe that it's got 4 star rating, it's okay don't get me wrong, the best thing is it's location, next to the staff who were all very nice & friendly. We were disappointed in the restaurant service especially at breakfast, one morning we were overlooked to take our cooked breakfast order, having to attract attention from a passing server, another morning we ordered 2 cooked breakfasts, one came, we waited but the second never arrived, we did tell one of the servers upon leaving the table, they said please let me correct that mistake but by then it was to late, one afternoon we ordered a sandwich with a side of fries, the sandwich came but the fries didn't, this time we asked where are the fries but by the time they came the sandwich was eaten!! So all in all not perfect. We were encouraged to use a rear entrance due to having our dog, which was fine, but the rear of the property could certainly do with some attention as it's very messy in places, again something you wouldn't expect from a 4 star hotel. Also you are charged for biscuits in your room £2 for a packet of 2, and also some coffees at breakfast are chargeable!! The upstairs lounge area was also strange, laid out with table and chairs & the odd sofa & armchair . But we made the best of our stay anyway.

What a stunning location overlooking the sea with turquoise seas and the best bit, it was dog friendly as well with even if you wanted a steak dinner for the dogs which they loved! The staff were very helpful and they even organised a boat trips to Bryher and Tresco Islands so, no need to go via St Mary's. Rooms were a good size with a fridge which was very useful. Highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

The staff at the Karma St Martin's made us very welcome and were very friendly. We received blankets and bowls for the dogs although not the other items mentioned, and there didn't seem to be a dog menu, but the staff did rustle up something for the dogs. The hotel location is wonderful, St Martin's is a beautiful island. The hotel staff were helpful when we arranged a trip to one of the other islands. Some aspects of the hotel did seem tired and it was expensive at £300 per night especially when there was no housekeeping service and some facilities were closed. We will visit again, but perhaps in the spring rather than October.
