“Apart from the location, our stay was very disappointing. The accommodation was tired, dirty and uncomfortable and to add we had a noisy mechanical digger in operation immediately outside on the owner's property for most of Saturday and well into the evening, we ended up having to email the owner at 8:15pm asking them to stop as our we trying to get our young daughter to sleep, thankfully they responded with an apology email and the noise stopped soon after. The fact that the place still portrays one "Visit Britain Self-Catering Award from 2008" speaks volumes. We feel totally ripped off and won't be returning.”
