“I booked this hotel for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary. The location was wonderful and the hotel is in a beautiful setting. The dogs were given a lovely welcome with a bowl each and a goody bag. The room however was very tired and quite grubby in places. It definitely needs some updating. The food was lovely, however on our last day the staff were very overwhelmed at breakfast and we had to sit in the bar due to it being so busy. The buffet was empty in places as we were not asked about a hot food order so just settled with helping ourselves to toast. Overall the hotel was ok but I would not hurry back.”
