“Perfect. Richard and Kathleen are perfect hosts. Penbontbren is just a beautiful place. The suite was very comfortable and luxurious. Grounds spacious. Breakfast delicious. We had been to this part of Wales before. The bays around the coast were ideal for our dog … and the hosts were helpful planning our days out.”

“If you are looking for peace and tranquility and 5* treatment then look no further. Katherine and Richard are the perfect hosts making you feel like one of the family . Breakfast is silver service on beautiful white linen and stylish crockery ,cooked to perfection and a great choice. This is now our go too for a quiet break to read ,walk the dog and generally recharge our batteries. Already booked for next year ,same time ,same place .”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Penbrontbren is more than a b&b as you have your own cottage. Breakfast is in a beautiful dining room just a few steps across the yard and is delicious.

“Our cottage was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Richard and Kathryn were perfect hosts. Lovely breakfast which set us up for the day. We look forward to returning.”

“Room and food excellent, Richard and Kathryn the perfect hosts . If we had a gripe it would be that our Cockapoo was not allowed in the dining area which was disappointing considering we booked through this website .”

“We had a most wonderful holiday at this very well run and friendly Hotel, B&B. The rooms were tastefully furnished and impeccable and the gardens were well maintained and easy on the eye. A truly comfortable and luxurious experience. A place to find peace and quiet and be able to ‘recharge the batteries’. The breakfast was very nicely presented and importantly very tasty. Our welcome was greatly appreciated. What a lovely holiday we had and so pleased we found Penbontbren on your web site. We were well and truly spoilt. Our dog, Clover settled into the holiday straight away, home from home.”

“All the team were pleasant and welcoming. Our little dog made it plain in his way, that he didn't want to go home! Full english (Welsh?) breakfast was very good. Bacon particularly nice. Eccles cakes, sorry welsh cakes were delicious. There was a crochet lawn (No dogs) and pleasant gardens leading on to a wide expanse of meadow to let your dog have a run. Pleasant views over the lovely countryside in a quiet and peaceful location.”
