Super dog friendly, great service and clean rooms. Only downside car park and drive up has a lot of pot holes and the rooms are a little dated!

The hotel is in a poor state of repair generally although apparently the rooms on the first floor have been refurbished. I stayed in a ground floor room. Everything was very clean in the bathroom albeit dated. The linen was all clean. The food served at dinner was inedible. The staff of whom there are not enough were very well meaning. The hotel is in a great location by the canal and convenient for the NEC and reasonably priced at £100 a night when central Birmingham upwards of £200. The hotel was, because of this well occupied by the number of cars in car park. It was a disappointment to find lack of investment and food quality as it was. I will not stay again.

Only stayed 1 night. The whole place was very shabby and tired needs lots of money spending on it then it could be nice. I guess the bed linen and towels were clean otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. The evening meal was awful, breakfast was good. The one member of staff we saw (The Receptionist in fact she did everything was really nice and helpful )

I would like to say that I could not fault the staff they were brilliant. They catered for my gluten, dairy and oat free diet wonderfully. They made my assistance dog, McGee very welcome, which made my stay less stressful. However, the hotel itself is very tired and in need of money spending on it.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We had a puncture and the manager kindly directed us to a very good tyre repair service. Other staff made us feel welcome while we waited for the AA rep.
The staff are all very friendly and committed to providing their best service. We were very happy to meet them. The hotel is clean but needs a substantial make over. Dinner was nice but breakfast was a bit disappointing. Coffee served at breakfast was instant.
