“We stayed here for 1 night with our 1year old pup. It's a gorgeous place in a beautiful location. Checkin was really quick and our room was simply out of this world. It was really spacious with high end fixtures and fittings and was, in a word, luxurious. The fact that it was dog friendly with a dog bed, bowl and a doggie welcome pack was a bonus. We had direct access outside which made everything so much easier. The food was just sublime - we were lucky enough to have lunch, dinner and breakfast here. The fact that we knew this place was good for dogs because we booked through pets pyjamas gave us added reassurance. I also have to say that the price we got through pets pyjamas was outstanding. The pheasant inn isn't just dog tolerant, it really does welcome and love your dog - they are as important a guest as their human companions. In summary, wonderful place, fab location, brilliant staff, sublime food, great value for money. Will be back.”

“Beautiful setting, amazing room, perfectly clean it's an amazing view. Lovely welcome pack for the dog she was very impressed. Staff were terrific really friendly and happy to help. Great beer garden and a lovely seating area out front. Bar and restaurant were really nice, great food and they even had a doggy menu at the bar I believe a paw star martini was available! Breakfast was very impressive with a varied hot menu along with all the fruit cereal yoghurt croissants you could imagine. The only disappointment was we were only there for 1 night.”

“We had a lovely mid-week break at The Pheasant Inn. All the staff were very attentive. Lilith our three legged rescue was treated very well. She particularly enjoyed her sausage for breakfast.The food was exceptional and the few days went all too fast.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It may have been good value if breakfast had not have been ruined and my partner would have received all of her breakfast rather than part of it which she couldn't enjoy after as she was too stressed and no tea to have with it

“We arrived at a beautiful spot in the country just perfect for a peaceful night away with our little dog. The room was very nice and spotlessly clean, Could have done with bedside table bothsides of bed but that's only a minor thing. Nice comfy bed. This is where.the positive ends. We went into a lovely looking restaurant for out breakfast. I order cereal, full English and toast. My partner chose Granola, Danish pastry and some toast. The cereal was served and cleared then my full English arrived. Partner waited and waited. I finished my breakfast no toast had arrived for me, no breakfast for her, no-one came to check that all was okay. As she suffers a great deal with anxiety I had no alternative than to let her leave without having her breakfast. I stayed to tell them and they gave me a Danish to bring over which again goes nowhere to cover the upset I had felt. There was no mention of the toast. For the cost of this place for an overnight stay I would.have expected much.better. Very disappointed”

“Excellent is the only word I can use to describe this hotel..We had nothing but great service and lovely food in our short stay at The Pheasant Inn. The rooms were very clean and the location and views were lovely… A real pet friendly hotel, which catered for our every need, included circular walks of differing distances. No hesitation in recommending, we will be back…”

“We stayed here on the 21st September. The views and surroundings of this lovely place were just amazing. The accommodation was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the food was exceptional. Will definitely be back and would recommend to all family and friends and dog lovers”
