“All the staff were lovely & made us feel very welcome. There is a lot of bar space so plenty of choice as to where to sit with our dog in the evenings and a good outdoor space as well. For breakfast there was a designated area for us dog owners to sit which was fine, it was table service rather than a buffet which actually makes things easier - no having to go up & down whilst the dog is wondering where you are going. Food was lovely and our room had a dog bed, bowls and even a tennis ball which was a great touch. Enjoyed our stay, there's plenty of walking to be done from the doorstep so we didn't have to worry about the car all weekend. Very relaxing time had.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? All staff members were fantastic but if we had to pick one Adam stood out as the most friendly & helpful and always smiling 😊

“We all had a fantastic time at the Ropemaker, the dog was very happy & comfortable. The staff were amazing & the food was so so nice, we would give it 12 out of 10 if possible The walks around the area were perfect & we enjoyed it very much.”

“Had a lovely time, staff were really attentive and clearly love dogs. Food was fabulous, bed soooo comfy, slept really well and I struggle to sleep in strange beds! So close to the ferry terminal too would stay again.”

“Great luxury inn with lots of stylish and thoughtful finishing touches in the room - and for your dog! Food was delicious and very generous portions. Staff were excellent and very attentive to us and our dog. Had a lovely time and our next stay is already booked!”

“Nice place, lovely staff. Room very nice. Very dog friendly, with dog bed, food & water bowls, and a free ball/ treat package in the room on arrival. Must log in your car reg on arrival to avoid parking fines. With this PetsPyjamas deal we had breakfasts included in price. These were okay. We also had one evening meal to value of £30pp included. Evening meal menu was not really to our taste, but for the price shown, the food we had was poor. We were also supposed to have a free drink upon arrival, which didnt happen. So, three nights, three breakfasts, one evening meal for £500+, worth it? Not at this price.”
