“Really lovely little hotel. Comfortable and quiet rooms, smashing breakfast and great food available in the bar/restaurant. Massive thumbs up to all the staff; they were a really lovely bunch. They were all so kind, welcoming and helpful. Our 2yr old Labrador fell in love with everyone there. We’d all definitely go back for another visit.”

“Perfect, thats the only way to explain our visit all the staff were lovely nothing was to much trouble, food and facilities were superb. Even the dog was pampered didn’t have ask for a bowl of water or any treats and he was made a fuss of by all. Loved my stay thank you all.”

“We stayed at the Dune hotel last week with our Schnoodle Jack. Great warm welcome, lovely clean first floor room, and excellent food served in the dog friendly bar area. The beach is accessible by road, 4 mins away by car. The details advertised by Pets4Pjamas is misleading, suggesting the hotel is in a large estate where you can walk your pup and that extends to the beach area, this is not the case.”

“On arrival the pooch pack and wine were not present. Wine was sorted after asking but there was nothing for Percy dog. Terrible noise from pipes in the room was sorted for us to sleep but started again 0715 waking us up. Mentioned to desk but no real apologies for it. Difficulty getting confirmation after booking as the hotel had a payment issue with Pets Pyjamas, we had to ring ourselves.”

“Your advert was a bit misleading as to the proximity to the beach - it was a 10 minute drive from the hotel! The dog was not allowed in the restaurant - only the bar - again a bit misleading. The shower was very poor - the head was leaking everywhere - so little power. Not your fault, but my dog came away from the grounds of the hotel with Ticks!”

“Hotel was welcoming and warm . Remote area of the lakes however this is why we chose it . Ronehead beach close by which has untouched beauty , very quiet . Large spacious room with walk in shower bathroom which looked newly refurbished.Staff were friendly and enjoyed meal in restaurant just lacked atmosphere. Breakfast was okay , more choices required for fruit and yoghurts and breads , danishes and bog standard boxed cereals . Hot breakfast choice was good . Dog was allowed in most areas and welcomed .”

“The staff at the Dunes hotel were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the only downside was long waits to receive your order despite it not being very busy. The food however was worth waiting for. Our only criticism would be that they do not come in to make your beds or clean the rooms as do other hotels. Massive positive also is that it is very dog friendly . Overall would recommend this hotel.”
