“The 10yr warranty inspector spotted some wall ties missing on a new build So the largest ones of these have done the job. Fitted about 25 of these in about an hour, that included climbing around the scaffolding. Have taken pictures, just hope he's happy with the results. It was going to be a rendered property so all good.”

“I bought Easi-Fix Neoprene Replacement Wall Tie Kit Mini. It should have come with a 10mm drill, but it came with a 12mm drill, instead. Fortunately as it is the first time I have used these wall ties, I only drilled one hole, before inserting the first tie, to try it out. It was slack, so I put that drill bit aside and used a 10 mm drill I already had for all the other ties. They all seemed to expand and grip securely. All Youtube videos on replacing wall ties seemed to relate to Helifix ties, not neoprene ones, so I thing it would help if Permagard did a Youtube video on use of neoprene ties.”
