“It is too early for me to say how good the product is, as it was applied just days ago. What I can say is that the 'creamy' texture of this product is not rather misleading. It seems to drop and drip off the roller like water as soon as it gets rolled a second time over. So, working with smaller amount seems like the answer but then it doesn't get pushed into brick cavities if it is too thin on the roller. Applying with an airless sprayer might work but the reality of working with this stuff on a terraced house, means that overspray gets flying everywhere and on parked cars it is a sure way to upset the neighbours. So, application is not brilliant. How it works against the rain is still to be seen.”

Thanks for taking the time to review your experience. Microshield Ultra is a water-based cream and is designed to be effective after just one application. It’s important to avoid rolling over areas you have already rollered - we’d recommend using a brush after applying to ensure the product has got into any deep joints or voids that might have been missed. “Microshield Ultra is easy to apply to the wall. Only time will tell if it will stop damp coming through to the inner wall via the cavity wall insulation.”
