I can really only comment on my dealings with the company which were excellent, the proof as to whether the product has done the job is too early to say.

Hi Lynn, Thank you for your review. Furniture can be notoriously hard to treat, as it is imperative with all wood worm treatments that the surface coatings such as wax, oil or paints are removed back to the original wood before the treatment is applied. Even then the wood boring insects need to digest the treatment which is normally at the final stage when they turn from larvae into the beetles and eat the final layer of wood and emerge. Therefore we would expect to see beetles emerge until the infestation has been eradicated and the treatment then stops the re infestation of the sideboard. Please be assured if you have followed the above preparation and applied the product as per the guidelines your side board will be protected. The Permagard Team

First time I have used anything like this, it did exactly what it said. Although only two coat's are needed I used three to make sure I gave complete under & over coverage. I am well pleased with the product.
