Permagard Universal Timber Treatment
Designed for the treatment of old and new timber, this ready-to-use universal wood treatment protects against wet and dry rots. It is also highly effective in the treatment and control of wood boring insects in furniture, flooring, structural and other timbers.
Combining two fungicides and an insecticide, it is a highly effective and easy to use product that delivers long lasting protection to your timber including furniture. The powerful insecticide ensures that it will prevent as well as eradicate any wood boring insects including woodworm.
How Universal Wood Treatment & Preserver works
Permagard Universal Wood Preserver is based on microemulsion technology which produces a formulation with tiny particles. The size of the particles means that the active ingredients - a powerful insecticide and two fungicides - can penetrate deep into the wood.
All active ingredients have a proven efficacy against a range of wood staining fungi, wood rot and wood boring insects.
Using Universal Timber Treatment
Simply brush or low pressure spray the target timber with Permagard Universal Timber Treatment at the rates advised to give long-lasting protection to the timber. No mixing is required.
This wood preserver can be used during the drying out period after the elimination of the source of damp. As a universal timber treatment and preservative it is highly effective, offering protection against a range of wood rotting fungi and various staining fungi.
Treated surfaces can be overpainted, varnished or stained when dry.
The universal wood treatment is suitable for external and internal use. On sensitive areas, ensure that there is no effect on colour or finish by testing on an inconspicuous area first.
