“Easy to understand instructions, and it all seemed to work well. The only issue I had was actually getting the grout into the cartridge gun without it slopping all over the place!”
“I found the grout gun difficult to use. I even bought some SBR Bonding agent to give the grout mix more elasticity. The small nozzle was just impossible, even after making it wider. Even when using the big nozzle I found that the grout mixture would seep around the sides of the pushing mechanism, even after adjusting it to make it as wide as possible. And due to the design, there was always a large amount of grout left in the bottom of the tube, so emptying it after each use was time consuming. The end of the mixing paddle came loose after 5 uses, but I was able to super glue the end back on, and used it more carefully for another 5 batches. Other than that, the grout was easy to use with a trowel, and set around the helical bars really well. I will definitely buy those items again.”
“A mortar blade for an angle grinder should be included with the kit as it is essential to the whole project. Advising the client that the mortar removal is extremely dusty is kind of intuitively obvious, but being prepared and wearing a mask is a good safety precaution.
Overall, the kit worked as advertised and hopefully will solve my subsidence problem.”
