I have applied the product but don’t know if it does the job yet however went on well and good coverage , in the short space of time it has resolved the dampness but it’s long term I need. So far so good

Good product, good consistency, easy to apply with good coverage. Used to cover a repair at the edges of a concrete floor (no heavy foot traffic), where an existing membrane had been damaged by nails from a carpet gripper. So far so good, and would recommend.

Cover damp staining ok, as advertised, but any damp returning to that area, e.g. chimneys, will come through to discolour the area. Perhaps I am expecting too much, but it's not really any better than a couple of coats of waterproof PVA.

Product has only been down for a month and was used as a precaution measure in an area I was confident wouldn't be damp. That said I didn't want to take the risk with finished levelling and flooring going down. Application was simple and the product felt like it was offering a good barrier once dry.

Permaseal is brilliant stuff! We bought a semi with a plot that sloped steeply down from the side and the back: a garage had been created from a retaining wall at the side and built into the slope of the garden. Despite being by the house, the garage was pretty useless - the walls seeped water in heavy rain and were almost always damp. The floor flooded occasionally, too! The big problem was the walls, but eight years ago, I painted them with permaseal and they have stayed watertight. This year, I repainted the walls to further strengthen the damp proofing and cover stains at the worst places. I used permaseal, of course. It has been so successful that we have re-roofed the garage and fitted electricity and LED lighting as we have a useable space (we have worked round the odd puddle on the floor!
