Very easy to apply. 1st coat always feels a little thinner than the rest (to me), but second coat always goes on very well. Drying time is very good, you can generally add the subsequent coats after around 60minutes. Permagard provided very good advice over the phone when I contacted them about a suitable solution, including application advice.

I found that it didn't adhere very well to the concrete surface, it was bought to seal a concrete floor where the previous dpm had either failed or not been applied. It seems to have worked in places but other areas there is still damp coming through and the paint actually goes wet to touch, a residue type thing.

Hi Ryan, thank you for leaving a review and sorry to hear you had a few issues with our product. Certain conditions can affect the PermaSEAL Liquid DPM, such as if concrete surface hasn't been mechanically prepared, which can cause issues with bonding. There are also floors that are too saturated for the Liquid DPM to fully cure, preventing it from drying. Humid conditions will also have an impact, as with any DPM-style coating. Improving the conditions will help the product cure but it seems that the actual concrete may have become too saturated - maybe from the heavy downpours we've been having - whilst the DPM is trying to dry out. If you’d like to discuss the issue further please call us on 0117 982 3282 or send us an email: sales@permagard.co.uk. Thanks - the Permagard team
