Nuaire Drimaster PIV with Hall Control
The Nuaire Drimaster Eco Positive Input Ventilator provides whole home ventilation using the Positive Input Ventilation principle. Essentially the concept is to introduce fresh, filtered air into the dwelling at a continuous rate, encouraging movement of air from inside to outside. To achieve this, the unit is mounted in the loft space, drawing air through the filters and inputting it, at ceiling level, into the property.
The Drimaster Eco units are fitted with an internal temperature sensor. This sensor continuously monitors the temperature in the loft...

Ive had this PIV system for 5 days now and in this short time its made the biggest difference to my condensation problem. Its easy to install easy to set up and even easier to use, just set it and forget it. The fan is so quiet and on setting 1 which mine is on it only uses 1.6 watts which is great considering the difference it makes. The only thing that is a very minor negative is that it is the unheated version so the air coming in on the landing is a little on the chilly side, but to be fair i knew this would be the case and it is a small price to pay for the HUGE difference it makes. There is a heated version available if you wanted to take the chill off the air. Overall im super pleased with it to the point where im trying to convince anyone and everyone that they should have one too ;)

If your looking at installing a PIV, then don’t hesitate! I did a lot of research, watched a lot of online videos and trawled through loads of reviews before deciding on the Nuair Drymaster. I was torn between the basic or the one with heat. I called a local installer, he advised that he would install the non heat model, as this matched most of the reviews I decided to go with that.... the installer wanted £650 to supply and install... if your ok with DIY, the unit is a doddle to fit, and a saving of £325 on the fitting cost! The system has been in just a few days and is quite remarkable! Ultra quite and zero condensation! I fitted some soffit vents to give a bit more ventilation in the loft, and hey presto all done. No more noisey and expensive dehumidifier. I’m most impressed, already recommended to a friend!
