This Epoxy DPM is a two-component, solvent-free, low odour epoxy resin membrane that is tolerant of residual moisture in concrete floors. This enables earlier access onto the floor for the application of screeds, coatings and other floor coverings including tiles, vinyl, wood and carpets. Our epoxy DPM has good chemical resistance to mild chemical attack, but is designed to be over-coated with other resin finishes.

“Bought the Damp proof liquid from Permaguard to apply on top of an existing concrete ground bearing slab. Since the slab was over 30 years old with a very thin polythene membrane beneath of questionable quality. The permaguard dmp two part liquid works really well, forming a nice crisp seal to the concrete. Which we then insulated and screened over.”

“This was quite sticky but fine to apply using a roller and a brush. Applied around the edges using a brush and then a roller with long handle for the main floor. My wife helped and tipped the DPM on the floor as I worked with the roller. It worked well and we had enough time to cover a garage floor approx. 17 m sq. We applied two coats.”

“The first layer was easy to apply by roller and but the second layer presented a problem; it was almost impossible to see if I had missed anywhere being the same colour. When I threw the quartz around all looked good. However, when I swept the quartz up it became evident that I had missed four small areas with the second coat. Permagard please make a different colour that can be purchased for the second coat. Also. please change the time between coats on either your website or on the Epoxy outer foil packaging as the site says 24 to 48 hours but instructions on the foil has 6 to 24 hours.”

“Second time I have used Permagard epoxy resin on concrete floors and again it did a great job! I wish it took a bit longer to go off, I used a brush for the edges and roller for the rest but only just finished before the roller was sticking to the floor and I was pretty fast. Great product though and great service so wouldn’t buy from anywhere else.”
