Hey Julia, we're so sorry this has been your experience. This isn't normal for Pre Lab Pro. We've identified a bad batch. It's been taken off sale now until the new batch comes through.
Rest assured, it is safe to still use if you've been breaking it up, but obviously this consistency is unacceptable and isn't what you expect from us.
Julia I'm going to pass your details on to our customer service team so we can get some pictures and batch numbers from you as we continue our investigation into what has happened here.

“I like this product a lot - it tastes great and give me a good bump I need for my workouts. I would absolutely give it 5 stars if the product would be more of a powder - I would say 1 out of 3 containers I get the product is rock solid and I need to take a knife to it to break it up - now once its broken up the product still tastes great. I just wish it would not be so hard to get a portion out. Again love the product and recommend it but they need to work on there packaging or something to help with the consistency of it.”

“I love Performance Lab’s pre workout powder, but for whatever reason, this was the absolute worst shipment I have ever received of this product. The quality of the powder inside the cannister was disgustingly solid…not just the bottom layer, but the entire thing. It was a solid block, which has NEVER happened before. I understand that “settling can occur” or it can dry out etc etc, but all 4 cannisters required me to chisle away at it with a knife to even make it powder form again. Its like they found a long lost palette of product in the back of the warehouse that had been solidifying and decided to just ship it out instead of checking the quality first. So disappointing because I love the actual product, but this shipment was just terrible.”
Stacy, this is not what we want to hear. We've always had such fantastic feedback on this product, we're so disappointed this has been your experience.
It sounds like we have a problem with this batch. I've found your last order details in Shopify and have passed them to our customer care team who'll be in touch. It may be that we need you to send the batch number and photos, so we can identify the affected stock and remove from sale. We do have a new batch in production, so please bear with us and we will sort this out and make sure you are left happy!

“First the good-I feel it is effective. My pump is improved while on it. I have good energy and no crash.
Now the bad-Clumps are insane. I am on my second container and I have to take a knife and chisel it. It is pretty mush one solid mass. Also they tout it has a “great tasting natural berry flavor” and that is just wrong. The flavor is not great and is certainly not any natural berry flavor I have ever had.”
