The Parkside is perhaps the finest addition to the Edward and James range to date.  Made by Joseph Cheaney of Northampton using many of the same specifications used in their Imperial range, it is made in the finest dark leaf calf leather.  The soles are channelled and pinched at the waist, with two tone sole staining adding a further flourish and sense of occasion. “The colour is sliightly playing into orange, but nevertheless very attractive. I found the shoe fitting quite well, but not perfectly well, because it seems to me a little bit on the larger side for an eight (which I definiteley am). The workmanship is excellent. I admire the sole construction. The leather is a little bit on the firmer side, but stil does not crease much. It may need even more time than I had suspected to break them in, so my judgement could modify.”
