Our Cordovan shoes are a part of a new collaboration between Edward James and esteemed shoemakers, Barker.  Exclusively made for us .  They represent the pinnacle of English shoe making and celebrate the rare and unique qualities that equine leather is famous for. Grassington has been a stalwart of the original Barker country range for many years and is a friendly companion to those who know it. Wonderful country aesthetics combined with practicality always offer any shoe admirer a solid investment. However through Edward and James backround and of course Barkers expertise in all things shoe related we have truly taken the Grassington to the next level by introducing durable and highly sought after Cordovan leather. This full country brogue derby is absolutely stunning in Burgundy and looks just as good as the materials it is made from.  Cordovan leather uppers, with calf leather lining and insole placed on a 10mm Goodyear stormwelted Dainite sole. “I've been looking at these for a while now and finally decided to purchase them. I selected a half size smaller than normal since these are sold in F width only. They fit exceptionally well. I am impressed with not only the quality of the shoe, but the material as well. I find this English shell cordovan to be incredibly similar to Horween's shell cordovan. Time will tell as it ages, but so far I am very pleased. I have owned footwear made from Italian, Japanese and even Argentine shell cordovan and feel this is superior to the shell cordovan from those tanneries. Pediwear is a fantastic retailer and has remarkable customer service. Their passion for fine gentlemen's footwear shines through with their Edward & James line. I was even impressed with the shoe box itself and the other items they included. I generously received a shine cloth, shoe bags, shoe horn, and an extra set of laces all of which are high quality.”
