“This shoe kind of reminds me of the saddle shoes we wore at Catholic grade school. Except these are very high quality in all respects. It's a very heavy shoe that feels like it has lead weight in it! This makes it high stable. The midsole is thick and firm and inflexible. Perfect! I have never experienced such sensation when my feet hit the ground - no shock. The bad? The leather on top of my toes bends down on the first step I take when I first put them on and I feel more than a bit of discomfort. Almost like a bite. Not what I expected from an expensive shoe. Still, it's a work of art and provides quality protection from the ground.”
