These high quality water bowls are available in 6 sizes and are made from 3mm thick Corten Steel, Corten Steel is a strong and weather-resistant material that covers itself with a protective layer of rust when it is exposed to open air. This fixed coating of rust provides protection against further corrosion. The water bowl will come with a hole and a plug, so you could also use it as a firebowl or a planter should you wish to.The manufacturing process may leave some marks and/or slight imperfections on the edge of the bowl. These will not be noticeable once the weathering process has coated the bowl.The weathering process begins immediately and continues for approximately 4 months depending on climate and location. This process can be expedited by wiping off any residual surface oil left by the manufacturing process.Please note – the Corten Steel product you receive will be unweathered or partially weathered unless otherwise agreed. During the weathering process the Corten Steel produces carbon run off and therefore potential staining to neighbouring materials such as decking or patios.PLEASE NOTEThe weathering process of Corten Steel is integral to this product and as such we will not accept any responsibility for damage caused to surrounding materials as a result of carbon run off from Corten Steel products.Please ensure you do not place your product on any surface that may be damaged during the weathering process.All Water bowls have a 5 year warranty.
