Genuinely a robust, incredibly well-built Aug. It does take a little ‘breaking in’ once you first receive the weapon as the tolerances for the magazine are incredibly tight, along with loading the magazines themselves, however it shoots wonderfully and the trigger was surprisingly easy to get used to due to the stopper in between Semi and Full-Auto. The battery compartment is… tight, to say the least, I bought an 11.1v Nunchuck 1450mAH Lipo with it and it’s not the easiest to get in, but once you (eventually) press the rubber stock-pad back into place, it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. While yes, the A1 can be rather challenging to get used to with the integrated sight and folding grip, the weapon is best used for outdoor fields where the 3X Mildot scope can be best utilised. It’s best advised this to use with 0.25g or 0.28g BBs, as 0.20s seemed to just fly everywhere, especially on full-auto. However, I honestly had a blast with this Aug on my first day with it, though I only had one magazine at the time and was constantly reloading with a standard 150 round speedloader. I would also recommend to get a good mid-cap speedloader with an adapter for the Aug, I’ve ordered an Odin speedloader with an adapter coming from the US which should assist in loading up my mags fast, as I will say with this AUGs very high fire-rate, it’s easy to go through these 180 round Mid-Cap SSR77 magazines.
