“The problem with mesh goggles is that it is difficult to see when taking precise shots like with sniper rifle. They provide reasonable protection but there are plenty of stories of bbs going through the mesh into someone’s eye. The mesh is fairly thin and light. They are comfortable however with the foam padding providing a nice seal. The goggles are good for long range airsoft site where BBs travel further and lose velocity once they hit you, less chance of going through the mesh. I wouldn’t use these on a close quarters site though”
