“The book is certainly not cheap at £75.50, but in my opinion it is worth every penny. The quality of the production, the wealth of information and the illustrations are top drawer and the battle/situation maps are some of the best I have seen, being both clear and informative. If you are interested in the NW European theatre of WWII, this book would be a valuable addition to any collection. Highly recommended.”

“I missed this voume when it was first released but jumped at it whe it was reprinted, a well written volume more than adequately illustrated with photographs many of which I hadn't seen before I have only looked through the book and I am reserving reading it until later in the year”
